As my frustration & boredom continued to grow. Finally I decided to stop. I made my way to Sukhasana, closed my eyes & breathed. Slowly I could feel my focus returning.
Time to start again.
Without any planning, as I flowed through my Sun Salutations again, I all of a sudden found myself flipping over into Camatkarasana! Why hadn't I thought of that before! I LOVE Wild Thing! It always makes me smile & really, it's so fun!
This got me thinking; how often do I just go through the motions with my practice just for the sake of getting my practice in for the day? I am unhappy to admit that I do this more often than I should. I have of late noticed that my asana practice & my meditation practice are very detached from one another. Maybe this is the problem.
As soon as I sat quietly to release my frustration & I connected to my breath again, everything came together. And there I was moving from Downward Facing Dog into Wild Thing with a silly grin on my face & a very big smiling heart!
Namaste my friends,
